I use these to cap bottles for various solutions in a fermentation system. The metal corrodes when exposed to various, although basic especially, solutions. This means that it's either coated with something or isn't stainless steel.

No son de acero inoxidable ó, si lo son, traen una capa de algo que al utilizar hidróxido de amonio en la botella se corree todo. Eché a perder una fermentación por este problema.

Let me first start out with saying that I’m using these for a liquid culture.I’m using these to extract fluid while keeping the solvent inside sterile.It seals great with the rubber gasket provided.I haven’t used it in an autoclave yet but I’m positive that it will seal properly.Will be getting more in the future. Thx!
