I was able to cut and drill this plate for a variety of marine applications such as a motor mounting plate and backing plates for keelbolts on a sailboat.As expected, it’s not easy to cut or drill. I used a circular saw with a Diablo diamond blade, and sprayed with water to keep everything cool. I had to make multiple passes. Any cuts need to be cleaned up with a grinder. Drilling is also challenging. I used a drill press on a very slow setting, and cobalt drill bits designed for metal.This is a quality product.
