I just installed this a month ago. My previous one had 3 CREE LEDs in it. This blows it away. It's very bright and works perfectly. I am very impressed for the money. I can't say if it will last. But as of now. It's great.

Ok let me say that for the money it’s an easy way to get underwater light to the back of your boat. If you keep your boat in fresh water great….if you put your boat in saltwater for a day or two the pull it and wash it….great. BUT! If you keep your boat in a saltwater slip all season like I do…..these will not last 1 season. We drop boat in at the end of May and pull it back out in Sept. these pics are what the light looked like after 4 months in saltwater. Yes they work great and are easy to install and wire with some basic knowledge of 12v electricity. No they won’t last submerged all season. Just some feedback for everyone!

This product is nice and bright ! But after using it maybe 3 times of installing and taking back out. The drain of boat . The light grew dim then stopped working completely. Process of install is easy but poorly thought of idle when it comes to not having a better swivel or something for wire to spin more .

Super easy to install. Remove whichever bung is not used on your boat (the highest one) and install this.Wire is nice and long.Brightness is really great.I had a $300 RGB Boat Plug Light and this thing is better than that for a 1/6 of the price.Stainless steel finish is awesome. Going on 14 months of use in salt and fresh water and the finish looks the same as when I installed the light.Super happy with this product and highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing one.27 Watts is great too, with a good single or duel batteries, this thing can be used for hours without killing your system.

Good enough light to be enjoyable but not obtrusive. There was a short in the wiring, assembly problem, easy 1 min fix. Still worth it, would by again. Light looks awesome in night pictures.

Great light and easy to install. Do not use this light out of the water. It gets hot and you may have a shorter lifespan out of the water.

I use this light for an underwater pool light but i'm sure it works well as designed for a boat drain plug replacement. It is very heavy, well constructed and very bright.Update: The light began to dim and it took me a bit to figure out it wasn't my battery or connections. I only ran the light for a couple seconds out of the water to test so I never overheated it but i'm sure the driver is bad. The light would be very bright then dim. If i removed power for a couple seconds then turned it back on it would be bright again for a few minutes. I was out of the return window but Amazon took care of me on the return. I'm purchasing another one because i really like the light and hopefully just got a bad one.

Only 1 out 4 I bought were working - terrible batch.I purchased same product in the past from another supplier and they did work fine.Quite sure it is not the seller's fault as the parts were in the original packaging, but the manufacturer is bad.Paul
