The picture in the listing is correct for what the sensor SHOULD be; however, the one I received was backwards. The location of the bolt hole was 180 degrees in the wrong direction. This is injection molded plastic, so it's fused together like this, you can't just rotate it to be correct.

My 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5L was throwing codes P0725 (Engine Speed Input Circuit) and P0335 (Engine Speed Sensor Signal). Each requires a sensor but they are actually the same sensor. I bought a 2-pack and installed them and it fixed it. These sensor are difficult to reach, especially from the top. I put the car up on high jacks and was able to change the sensors from underneath. You just need a 10mm socket. There is a tight seal so they are hard to wiggle out. You might need a tiny pry bar to help pull them. Also you MUST put a little transmission fluid or light oil on the gasket when putting the new ones in or they won't go in all the way. You'll know they are in when you hear the light pop as the gasket seats.

Got a bad sensor out of the box.. I bought one for my car 2 years ago that worked, but I was noticing issues with the transmission again so I bought another one and my car wouldn’t even start with the new sensor.. just go oem. It might be 5x the cost but it’s worth the reliability. This was on an 03 Infiniti i35.
