Thermal paper is made with a special heat-sensitive coating that allows for inkless printing. When heat (from a thermal paper printer) is applied to the coating, the result is a sharp black image without the need for ink or ribbons.

I've been buying shipping labels for the last 15 years and have never had poor quality lables from any third party supplier but these are exceptionally thin and cause problems feeding though my zebra label printers.

Our register will automatically print our receipts regardless of the choice a customer may choose, so we needed to purchase the thermal receipt paper in bulk. We use toast for our POS system, and these fit perfectly for customer receipts.
