This set focuses on the tools necessary to clean out the smallest ports and jacks. Think USB-C, USB micro, 3.5mm stereo, even some ribbon cable and exotic plugs. It includes steel tools, hard plastic, soft plastic, and nylon brush so you should be able to clean out whatever gunk is keeping you from charging or connecting.The case is a bit of a gimmick but it does keep everything in one place and that is a very good thing given the sheer number of tools. It is way to easy to lose them or not be able to find the one you need when they all come in a bag or something.This opens by pushing down on the side labeled "open" until it clicks, releasing the collection of tools. From there all four sides have something that can be removed or opened up a bit more to get to the tools. The top has an extension (center of the "open" side) and the bottom has a brush (magnet attached, just pulls off. That red button looking thing is for extending the brush once you get it out).

This thing is fantastic! I love how compact it is. The box itself is plastic but can be released with a spring. It is very small, only 5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. It is a smooth little tower that will fit on most desktops. The spring opens the container and allows you to pull out the center section, which contains different handle tips. The handle itself can be pulled out of the center. Everything is easy to attach and gives you tons of options. I like that it includes tools for removing the keycaps and switches. The different keycaps can be a little difficult to put back in place, but you get used to it slowly. It's nice to finally have a variety of tools for cleaning your keyboard. The brush on the bottom is nice and magnetic!

I've had several cleaning kits and this is by far my favorite. I'm a klutz. I drop stuff, knock stuff over. A small drop onto carpet with other kits just has parts flying everywhere. This kit is very compact and holds together well. On a quick drop test, the extension rod or the central pillar may pop out, but that's mostly the extent of it. Most tools in the central pillar are clamped in tightly enough to not pop out easily. The brushes are rather loose, but don't fall out as you would have to tilt the brush trays out, and they are held secure by magnets. You'd have to drop it hard enough to crack the plastic in order for anything to fly off. The tool variety is handy for cleaning keyboards, phones, tablets and cameras and all their tiny nooks and crannies that build up dust and dirt.

I bought this to clean out my earplugs and I knew it had more uses, but the packaging and all the tools that came with it really blew me away.Yes, I read the instructions and looked at all the pictures. However, when it comes to tools and gadgets, I prefer to get my hands dirty. That way you get to know the tools better. It makes cleaning my keyboard, earbuds and Apple phone a breeze.The way it comes bundled in the box is great, neatly organized and each piece has its own perspective. So you can clearly see which tool pieces are missing while cleaning.This is definitely a must-have for techs.
