These are very comfortable for rain pants but most importantly they are NOT WATERPROOF. I bike commute year round in Portland, Oregon so need something waterproof. These are weather resistant. They did okay in short light rain/mist but I was soaked with sustained rain.

Really like these pants for biking they are stretchable they breathe well but still keep you warm when it is cold out. Glad I got these I hesitated at the price but I feel like they are worth it!!!!

I bought these for cool weather cycling and rain and have been very impressed with them. I love the zip legs, the stretch of the fabric, the warmth, the breathability, and fit. I am 5'2" and weight 125 pounds. The size Small has given me enough room to wear my cycling shorts underneath. The legs are plenty long enough for taller women, but the tapered legs and Velcro allow shorter women to wear the pants too. Please don't mistake these for the same company's "rain pants" as those are NOT stretchy.

I am 5’2”, 132 lb. The pant let is too long otherwise the M fit well.

Bought a pair for my husband first and after his experience thought I'd buy my own. Very soft, and comfortable, and they fall down in the back while riding. We used these while hiking as well and they kept are legs dry and safe from thorny bushes that we ran into. Will buy another pair soon.

Below is my original review. I really liked these pants, but they turned out to NOT be waterproof. I rode with them in a medium-light rain and within an hour or so, they were soaked through on the shins—probably due to the force of the movement into the rain. (Interestingly, the tops of the thighs were still dry on the inside.)I think they would be fine for hiking, etc. But not for cycling in the rain. Too bad, because they're really comfortable.*****Original review:I bought these for an upcoming cycling trip to replace an older pair of rain pants. These are very comfortable and sized true according to the sizing chart (for reference, I'm 5'7", weigh 142 lbs, and the medium fit perfectly). I love the pockets, the hidden zipper side mesh panels, the leg zips and grippers, and reflective details. I haven't worn them on the bike yet, but tested around the house wearing bicycling shorts underneath - they have 4-way stretch and I'm confident they'll work. They do make a swishing sound, as most waterproof clothing does - if they didn't I'd feel comfortable just wearing these around as regular pants.

I bought these pants for biking. They met all of my qualifications- draw string waist, wind proof, tapered leg, and no fleece. They have a a similar feel to a pair of wind proof outdoor research pants I have that I love to bike in. I’m happy with the fit too. I haven’t actually worn them out yet but I’m happy so far!
