This is a good water-proofing membrane for lining a shower floor and walls. It is as described. It arrived in a couple of days after ordering it, so I am ready to start my new shower project.

This feels like a good-quality membrane. The ~98' length would be a better value if I needed that much, but this is a good value for the length and is equal to or better priced than others of similar quality for this size.Most of these membranes seem about the same, but some products for sale are only 20 mils, while the better quality membranes, like this one, are 23.6 mils. I don't have enough experience to say definitively, but it seems like it is a bad idea, or at least an unnecessary complication, to mix thicknesses on membranes. With the same thickness, installation will be easier, and I will have better functionality since all the pieces will match better. In addition, I like the advantage of more durability using the thicker membrane, which will keep the membrane doing its job for longer.So, for the relatively little, and in some cases no, extra cost, I recommend going with 23.6 mil for the whole project. It's a good product at a good value.
