My mom and I are making Christmas ornaments with these pins and colored sequins. If this is some thing at my grandmother used to do and it holds good memories.

Be warned if you are using these to make ornaments, these pins are thinner and the heads of the pins are tiny. They are not the pins in the photos or the sturdier #17 pins pins from other manufacturers. Hopefully they will hold up.

The pins are decently sharp, and fairly uniform. I did find 1 in about 200-300 that was blunt. It happens. Most of them are ferromagnetic (stick to magnets), but not all. They work, just don't spill them on a carpet. The packaging on the other hand is honestly awful.I personally feel a plastic bag (the ones that rip easy when they get a hole) stuffed in a thin cardboard box with a loose taped on lid, stuffed in a zip bag (with air holes in it) is just not a secure way to mail sharp pointy objects.In short, the product is good, the packaging is bad. Might buy again.
