I installed it in my setup, and the difference was instant and mind-blowing—the lows are tighter, more controlled, and hit hard without distortion. 350W of clean, efficient power that makes my subwoofer come alive. It runs cool even when pushing it hard. No muddy or bloated lows—just tight, responsive bass that enhances movies, music, and gaming. The adjustable crossover, gain, and phase control let me fine-tune my bass exactly how I like it.The plate design makes it perfect for custom enclosures, and wiring it up was super simple. No bulky heat sinks, and it runs like a dream.

The 6db boost was a bit much for a small room. Moved it to larger room, problem solved. Driving an older 10" speaker craft sub and it handles it effortlessly.

This thing has a lot of features for a subwoofer plate amp! The XLR input/output is interesting because this would make it work great for use with a PA system where you can pass through the signal to another channel, or to a high/midrange speaker stack for a nice portable sound system.I'm using it for home theater, and using it with a smaller subwoofer in a sealed box. I like the punch and quick response a sealed box provides, but you generally get less SPL from a sealed box, which makes having plenty of power overhead really nice. Build quality is solid, and very heavy, which is what you'd want.I also really like all the different settings and adjustments to really let you fine tune this to make it sound exactly how you want.

As described. You may need to amuse cabinet opening to accept it as I did to fit a keg 400b sub.

Bought to replace a much more expensive Dayton Audio 500W plate amp and I was very surprised at how it handled my 12" amp. Its so light too. No clipping yet either, but I also haven't pushed it hard.

Easy set up. Fit my subwoofer fine. Really good price for a 350 watt amp.

I got this amp to replace my existing subwoofer amp that died. This was fairly simple to install. I just had to increase the size of the hole on my speaker box to fit the plate. There are a lot of extra options and control features on this sub more than what I probably need as a beginner. Once it was hooked up, it took a bit to learn what all of the switches and knobs do there was a user guide supplied, however I needed to consult the Internet on how they actually worked. As a beginner this was very easy to install and sounds great. Thing to note, this did introduce a ground fault when connected to the DAC that my computer uses causing a steady hum. When disconnected from the computer and using Bluetooth, it sounds amazing. There are no other issues I’ve had with either installing or using this amplifier.

My 12-inch sub amp died, but the speaker was still in good condition. The new amp was a bit larger than my old one, so I had to cut the box to fit it, but it worked out great! The speaker is back in action, and it brought new life to my sub. For the price, this amp is a great deal—definitely a lot of bang for the buck.I don’t have a ton of experience with amps, but I just didn’t want to drop $500 on a new subwoofer. This amp did the job without breaking the bank, and I'm really happy with the performance. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to revive your sub!

The plate amp is perfect for making a new, or reviving an old subwoofer, to an active subwoofer.Suitable for use in a home theatre or audio setup - not intended for car setup. The size and power is suitable for an 8 inch to 12 inch driver and box.May work with a 15 inch driver if its an efficient driver. This amp will need a 7-1/2 by 8 inch opening to mount.Needs 3 inch clearance depth inside.8 holes for mounting but the mounting screws are not included. The screws needed will depend on your cabinet material and wall thickness.A standard red and black wire lead is included to connect to your driver. This wire can also be disconnected at the board and you can install your own 2-pin connector and wires. This inside is made well with good looking solders and clean boards.Sealant is a little excessive and sloppy but shouldnt affect performance. No external heat sink. The panel controls are very complete with many options and adjustments. All functions are clearly marked.Balance inputs is a nice feature for long cable runs.A detachable power cable is important for upgrading (thicker) or extending (longer cable).Accessible external power fuse.110V or 220V selectable. This has all the features of modern subwoofer amps and more.Performs well if not pushed too hard.

I used this for a DIY home audio subwoofer using a high excursion 12" sub in a down firing and slot loaded configuration. The plate size is what seems to be one of a few industry standard cutout sizes, depending on the amp size, which makes fitting it to a pre built or purchased box easy. In my setup I made the cutout myself, and recessed the amp for a flush mount. The amp includes a foam gasket, but I chose to remove it and replace it with a rubber gasket I made for a good airtight seal. This amp has some really nice connectivity features with the addition of the XLR input and output for easy integration into studio style equipment like mine. I used the XLR inputs driven by a Sony PreAmp and initially set the line power to 2.5 mVs on the preamp to start. I set the amplifier to general mode, with a lop pass of about 110Hz, anechoic bass eq on, and variable mode with 0Db added.Going through some of my typical test music in hi-res DSD512 or 384K/32B the amp was very responsive, producing great transient sounds with opposing bass drum's playing , like in heavy metal or rock. Moving on to some rap and hip hop the amp performed very well making good use of the enclosures 35hz tuning frequency to really pound th ebass out. Switching over to some home theatre movie style sounds, I was equally impressed with a solid low frequency effects output that let you feel every bit of the action.Overall this a is a great amp for the home theater that performs well across a wide variety of uses, and has a great set of features to really help dial in your bass.

This is a hefty low-frequency amp, best for large signals. According to the specs, the best THD is at around 100W RMS, and that's a lot of bass. The frequency response peaks at 20Hz and is significant all the way down to zero, but perhaps the distortion is greater below 20Hz because it's rated from 25Hz up.It's a hefty piece, a solid plate on one side with screw holes, the circuit on the other, hefty chokes and capacitors that must be for the A/D and D/A conversions, with Class D (digital) amplification in between. Thick metal plates. This is built solidly, to take a beating on the road. The digital amplification allows various tricks, such as phase delay which is probably implemented via binary registers / computer type memory. There are various modes including general (amplifying the full range up to where it tails off around 180 Hz), cinema mode (amplifying up to 80 Hz only) and LFE (pass through the amplification, but using this box for special effects like delay). It is possible to add a peak in the frequency response of up to +4dB, at a frequency you select. It can run off 110V or 230V.As a plate amplifier, I think it's best to mount this to a separate box (not the subwoofer cabinet) so that it is not vibrating with the subwoofer audio signal, risking feedback and even damage to the electronics over time. As such I would have appreciated a complete cabinet for my use case, but perhaps the thick plate installation is more useful in some other application.
