The screw pack that came with this motor was way out from what's described in the product image and description. Instead of hex head M3 Fasteners I received different M3 Phillips head bolts. This wouldn't be a big deal but unfortunately the heads on these new bolts foul the mounting plate, and cannot be driven in. Image provided. This makes it impossible to secure the mounting plate to the motor, so buyer beware; you will need to provide your own fasteners.There were other deviations in the screw pack which are less critical and can be observed in the second image. The product description also notes this product as not requiring assembly, however that is incorrect as the motor cannot be used before assembly of the mounting plate.

The screw holes for the mounting bracket didn't line up. There are two different widths on the screw holes as in the picture. The picture shows all 4 screws going through the plate, but only 2 will. I requested an exchange specifically to get one that will line up with all 4 screws, same problem.

This is a great motor. Powerful and rugged enough to survive quite a few nose first crashes without damage. Cost more than most other motors of this size but seems to be worth it. Delivered in days instead of weeks.

Great powerful motor.The badMotor mounts are poorly designed. It starts out loose, tighten lightly, after a two minute flight its extremely hot, from being in a bind at the motor mount. Loosen gently to relieve binding then repeat whole process.Sad this motor has power for days but the mount ruins it. Going to replace it.Update. Newer bigger motor was not as hot, so Going to drill and tap the mount so it will have 4 setscrews.Also trying some corrosion X nano technology lubricant on that bearing because it gets super hot.

Put this in my flitetest foamboard rc airplane, paired with a 10x5 prop it provides plenty of power and speed for my uses while not getting hot. Running it on a 35a esc and it seems to be holding up great on 3s lipo.

This motor is awesome! I am using it in a model airplane with a four-foot wingspan and it has plenty of power. It is super nice to have the bullet plugs pre-installed. It makes it easy to install and change out the motor or speed controller if needed. The included mounting hardware is adequate for most applications and a nice bonus. Overall, the motor has a great build quality and feels solid.

I purchased this to power my first attempt at an RC airplane. The plane was made from dollar store foam board and weighed 620 grams. This motor puts out an unbelievable amount of power with the suggested prop and even more with a 8x4.5. It has withstood multiple crashes without any damage. I have yet to be able to apply full throttle but I’m sure it would scream wide open. Just purchased another for an airboat project. Highly recommend especially for the price.
