Note:
- It's normal the pointer is not zero in the absence of installation. After power-on, the product will check and adjust the pointer by itself.
- If the product pointer is still not zero after power-on, can start normally, when the pointer is above zero, it can be restarted to adjust the pointer after power-off.

Works great! Instructions are incorrect though. They say to hold set 2 button for 6 seconds to set cylinders. Actually you hold it for 2 seconds then push it to cycle through the number of cylinders.

This will not work on my car No way to wire this to the coils I have individual coils that extends in valve cover and there is no way to wire the tachometer

Es un tacómetro justo para su precio, en mi carro cuando abro el switch debo esperar que el tacómetro se ajuste, si enciendo sin esperar su ajuste puede quedar descalibrado, lo apago y enciendo nuevamente esperando y ya queda bien, solo ese detalle hay que tener en cuenta, de resto me a funcionado perfectamente

Tachometer works as expected, easy to program and retains programming after power off. Easy to set shift light trigger. Nice inexpensive tach that works, can't ask for more.

Finally got around to installing this tach after a month and first thing i did was set the backlight brightness and then set the cylinder setting. Fired the truck up and the needle bounced around like crazy then nothing, so i shut the truck off and fired back up, it reads 1,000 rpm off, when setting the cylinder count its also 1,000 off ex: 4,000 for 4 cylinder tach reads 5,000. The instructions where sub par, but with a little knowledge you can figure out the settings. Not going to order another one, wish i hadn't waited so long to install, now ill have to eat the cost with a junk tach.

I bought these to make it easier to tune my carburetor by having a tach visible from the engine compartment. I connected it in-line with the signal wire for my primary Autometer brand tachometer so they both provided a readout at the same time. I found this tach read 100 RPM lower. All of the features that came with it worked fine.

While you can find guidance in the questions for wiring, it really should be included with the unit.The unit itself is just a stepper motor driven needle, so it's not a true analog, fluid needle. It's very jerky, and I find it to read 100-200 RPM lower than it should.Like another person mentioned, it's better than no tach at all.

This item arrived at my door incredibly quick, the gauge looks great, perfect size, and great price. The biggest issue is it has the worst installation instructions I've ever seen. It was pretty much just a tiny paper with one simple drawing on it, and it mentions nothing about how to select how many cylinders. After days of guessing, and searching the internet on how some other brands do it I found some ideas. It now reads much closer, but still not correct.It looks great, it was cheap, and works better than having NO tach at all. Good for a cheap build but NOT accurate enough if you want something nice.
