Worked great, seems like good quality, direct replacement for my Genie SilentMax 1000. It was also pretty easy to install. I watched a YouTube video and was able to install it in under an hour.

Good replacement, so far so good. It’s only been about a week so can’t speak to the durability of the belt, but it fit and worked as described. Came with a new connector piece for the belt. Only complaint is that the small screws for the connector piece are cheap and I almost stripped one of them when removing, so put some pressure on them and turn slow.

The new belt worked perfectly. My only complaint was the three day shipping time.I have a suggestion for installation. Instead of removing the motor and rail to replace the belt, just remove the rail. If you have enough ceiling height above the motor, you can easily remove the two clamps holding the rail to the motor. If you then remove the pin at the door end of the rail and the pin connecting the carrier to the door, the rail can be lifted off of the motor shaft and carried to a bench to install the new belt. That is much easier than trying to remove the whole unit and then reinstalling. The bracket holding the door assist springs is directly below the bracket that the rail is pinned to. If the motor bracket bolts are removed, the motor, can not be lowered to the floor, but must be supported on a ladder, making it very difficult to reinstall if you are working alone.I was surprised at what shape the old belt was. There was a 4" and 2" section that were completely devoid of any belt material.
