Doesn't seem to have the life of the original but sufficient for most rides. My original lasted for the entire 10+ hour Cross-Florida ride and the Peace River Riders Hamster Wheel 200 (~12 hrs). This one reaches 50% in about 3 hrs so probably wouldn't make it. I have a battery pack that I can plug either my VIRB camera or 800 into so not a big deal. Watch a couple of YouTube videos before trying to replace the battery. Not hard, but you need to be careful. Battery is double sided taped to the case and requires a bit of prying. I didn't replace the tape and now it rattles a bit. Not worth taken back apart though.

Charged this battery in the evening. Next morning turned on the Garmin for the first time and charge was at 4%.In order to return it I have to take the Garmin all apart to get the batter out. Technically it's forbidden to send a defective lithium battery in the mail.
