Used them as soon as I got them. They work great. One thing is they stink. Literally stinkiest tools I’ve ever owned. The smell burns the nostrils.

Since I’ve bought this impact socket set I have done 6 wheel bearings, 6 pads and rotors, 2 drum brake sets, one oil pan and gasket & 2 struts. It has worked great! The only issue was that my son broke the 1/2” to 3/8” adapter but I’m pretty sure he just way over torqued (don’t know his own strength). I’m very happy with this set and would recommend to anyone!

Overall great product. I have not used every socket in the set but what I have used are quality feel and look. Came in a carrying case. I was not expecting that. Great product for the price.

I ordered this socket set for “travel” usage. I do all larger repairs in my shop at home. I’ve got tons of tools spread around in large upright tool chests and always have what I need. But I find it a major pain to pack up a few when I need to go repair something away from home. You hate to pack too much but then I seem to frequently miss something I need. I really like these budget sets for this purpose. Literally “grab and go” and, in this case, you know you’ve got a full SAE and metric 3/8” drive set.The case is sturdy enough as long as you’re easy with it. It’s a blow molded case of thin plastic so it isn’t going to hold up to much abuse. They did use an actual hinge instead of just a thin plastic strip which is a big step forward in making this case last.The tools are pretty good. Yes, they are budget quality but the black finish is consistently good and size labeling is very good. The ratchet is a fine tooth, perhaps 72 tooth although I didn’t take it apart and count teeth. It’s a bit sloppy feeling compared to my much more expensive ratchets but it gets the job done just fine so far.Socket sizing is good. They aren’t sloppy on the ratchets or on the bolts themselves. They are also impact rated, which is great. My only criticism is the set is short of a couple sizes in the deep sockets. For example, there is no 9/16” deep socket but there is a 9/16” standard/shallow socket. There are also some sizes skipped on the metric deep sockets. And there are a few sizes skipped overall, such as skipping 7mm (the kit has 6mm and 8mm but no 7mm).I don’t appreciate the requirement to contact them to get a 12 month warranty. You either stand behind your product or you don’t. As long as I have proof of when I ordered the set, I should get the benefit of the full warranty. The warranty card is full of misspellings but I don’t hold that against them. I just find it funny given the free online translation services available today that they evidently didn’t bother to use.Overall, I like the set and it’s working well for my intended purposes. It’s a good budget socket set that you can just “grab and go” knowing you should have what you need when it comes to sockets.
