They do not protect the couplers while in use. the will fall off the connections.

My grapple did not come with covers for the quick connects. If you do not have them attached to the hydraulic system, you absolutely need to cover them to protect your hydraulic pump from contamination. These fit perfectly and protect the connectors as they should. The price point is very favorable and having a second pair is great.

These dust caps were exactly what I needed for my Third-Function hydraulic couplers on a Kubota BX2380, and the male coupler ends for my Land Pride SCG0554 54" Grapple. I no longer need to worry about debris contaminating my hydraulics when I use the loader without the grapple.

I found these to be slightly too large, so they can easily slip off of my lines. Disappointed.
