This is REALLY HARD STEEL! I trust this chain to pull out 18" stumps with my Hyundai Santa Fe, or tow another SUV at least as heavy as my Santa Fe... This chain came in nice and clean; shiny and bright! This reminds me of the case-hardened steel used in the old American brand locks... this steel is HARD! ...but not brittle! I smacked it with a hardened steel hammer against a hardened steel anvil and it's not going anywhere! No fractures or chips!

Feels a little light for what is is but it holds up and does the job.

Very nice rust resistant chromate plated chain for many uses around my farm. I have other un-plated chains that soon begin to rust but these chromate coated chains stay bright and shiny for much longer....Strong grade 70 6600lb working load limit and 26400lb break strength. Has many uses for the farm...tie down implements and other equipment for travailing, tow chain and lifting chain....the link welds are strong and polished to be non-snagging, the the removable clevis pinned hooks are impressively robust and marked to NACM standards

Even though its only 3/8", this is a pretty heavy duty chain with working weight of 6600lbs. Its easy to handle and suitable for most towing, tie down, and lifting jobs under its working weight. Most of my uses are with lifting with a tractor boom or the front-end loader. The clevis hooks make it easy to setup and based on my initial use with it, this is the perfect length for these jobs. The corrosion proof finish should keep it from rusting when exposed to the elements which happens from time to time. This is a great chain and I expect it will provide years of reliability.

This is a good quality trucker chain. It's strong enough for anything that I will throw at it. Grade 70 is suitable for most trucking or farm applications. This chain came with welded links and heavy hooks that have strong pins securing them. It's zinc plated to resist rust and is now part of my emergency travel pack.

Welds look clean, hooks have no pitting, and plating is more even than some jewelry. It’s a well made chain. Don’t pull more than the 3ton weight limit and it should last a lifetime. The current price of $40 is fair for a chain of this quality.

This is a grade 70, 3/8" x 10 foot long chain with grab hooks on both ends (aka trucker's chain). It appears to be very well made with bright yellow chromate plating and very smooth welds and forging. The breaking strength is advertised to be 6,600 pounds.I'm not a trucker but have many uses for a chain like this on the farm. My primary use is for moving logs and occasionally securing something to a trailer, but may also involve some rigging time to time. The lift capacity on my tractor is about 2,000 lbs and I suspect that is the highest load this chain will see here. I picked up the heaviest log my tractor will lift with this chain with no issues, but that is the heaviest load I tested to.This chain will see a lot of use here, including dragging logs thru the mud and occasionally being left out in the rain. I expect it to hold up well and last me a lifetime.
