I purchased these items to securely mount cameras while filming vehicles using a suction cup mount. I selected this particular product because it is rubber-coated, which reduces the risk of scratches on the vehicle in the event of a suction cup failure. Thus far, I have not experienced any failures, making these a cost-effective precautionary measure.

Mostly used to secure lighting for filming/photography, but also good for connecting lighting cases together or connecting to a pole, etc., making it more difficult for gear to disappear.

The one meter length is about right for most uses I can think of. By looping it through itself or around shorter distances I can take the slack out of most uses I will be using them for. Primarily these will be put to use steadying off balance equipment and my motorcycle to secure them from being tipped over by carelessness. Second to that would be as security cables.For rigging to things like tall light stands (photography) these match well in looks and strength to what I have. They will also roll up compact enough to fit in the gear bag, no problem. The set of four comes in a small box which gives you an idea how much little storage space they need. I held off on getting other choices in coated cables for not meeting those reasons, so these were a good set of four to discover.

I bought these to use as a sort of tie out for my dog when we are on the porch. She's a small bit powerful dog and these did the trick. I don't know if I would trust them with lighting fixtures or anything like that, but they work perfectly for our 20 pound Jack Russell.
