Says it fits 76 evinrude 40 hp. However, nothing in the kit fits a 76 40hp evinrude.

The float seat will not thread into the carburator. Other than that it works

The seats for the pin valve do not screw down all the way, I had to put the old ones in. The rest of the kit did work for my carbs for my 1978 Outboard 70 - 70EL78C
