I honestly feel like For $19.99, this set is hard to compete with value-wise. It looks just as it does in the product images, and the tools are very helpful for the builds I need them for. I love that it comes with a case because I tend to misplace tools, which this has helped negate and has kept me more organized overall. The set and case both feel sturdy and well made, and the tools function as they should. The scissors remind me of my kitchen scissors, and I’m not sure what I’ll use them for - but it’s nice to know they’re there if I need them for whatever reason. I really liked this set overall, and in my opinion the only thing that could be better is if they made an electric drill set option or upgrade.

The good: 1) This is a good set of basic tools for a homeowner or an aspiring mechanic. I like the wide selection. If you’ve never bought tools before, this is a good place to start. 2) Nice sturdy case. It’s helpful to have everything organized and in it’s place, but see below. 3) The tools I have tested fit the fasteners I needed to remove well. The tools just did the job with no problems.The bad: 1) When opening the case, it’s hard to tell which side is right-side-up. I took this to a job site and accidentally opened it upside-down. Half the sockets spilled out in a jumble that I had to reorganize. That was a little embarrassing onsite. It would be helpful if the case lids were marked with “top” and “bottom”.Neutral: 1) This set seems to have a little more metric sized wrenches and sockets vs. SAE size. That might be a good thing or a bad thing for you.Overall:I’m an engineer who mainly uses tools like this for homeowner tasks. This set is an adequate start for a homeowner. We usually use heavier-duty tools on the job. Highly recommended for homeowners and beginners.

Perfect for new homeowners. Sturdy tools. Quite a good variety. Bought them for both daughters with new houses and these were definitely a hit!

The set is OK. It has the essentials, and keeps them in one place. It came with all of the pieces jumbled up inside, and is missing one of the little screw inserts. Some of the smaller plastic pieces also are not the cleanest cut, but it does not affect their use, it’s merely cosmetic. I would give it 3 1/2 stars, but downgraded to three since it came missing a piece.
