Using this is locking your center differential and essentially gives you a 1:1 front to back ratio. If you run a large pinion, this will result in extreme speeds at the expense of the RCs longevity. This is geared more for speed runs, not so much for bashing. I run this in a custom built road car and it works flawlessly. I can swap out this locked diff with the stock diff in about 2 minutes. Highly, highly recommend -- especially if you're after speed and nothing but speed.
