I have had to return this item as it will not fit in my Gemini midi. Would have been lovely for embossing cards. It was a good price as well.

This is a beautiful and detailed embossing folder. To use it I sprayed the cardstock on both sides lightly with water before putting it in the embossing folder. I put it twice through my Sizzix Express with just the main plate topped by one magic mat. The card embossing turned out very detailed and beautiful.

just received my butterfly embossing folder. I used it perfectly in my Cuttlebug machine by only using A & B rather than 2 A's & a B as with other thinner folders. It did a lovely job and I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

The plate is pretty so I will keep it but it is 4 and 1/4 inches by 6 and 2/8 inches. It is also very thick.

This is a review for "3D Embossing Folders, Textured Flowers Leaves Butterflies Embossed Template 5x7 Inch Embossing Plates Plastic Embossing Folders for Card Making Scrapbooking Paper Crafts"I first used/tested this embossing folder with a patterned scrapbook paper. The embossing folder almost worked too well. My paper was white on the opposite side and this folder embossed so deeply, I would see white peaking through.I used it again with heavier cardstock, something akin to 65lb and it worked great with that paper. It makes a great background for cards.

I love this embossing folder! I love that it blends well with many of the butterfly stamps and die cuts that I have. This really helps make my homemade cards look professional and great!
