Does not work with gold coins. The coins slide down instantly.

Definitely a conversation piece. Some of my coins deserve to be on display due to how awesome they are and this is a great solution to prevent random people from touching them constantly. They are held strong inside the case and stand firm on the mount. Certainly plan to purchase more of these.

My commemorative coin is about the size of a US half dollar. This frame displays it perfectly, clear on both sides. The stand works well, and I think you could even hang the frame on a nail on the wall, since the apex is wide enough. Very pleased with purchase.

This product DOES NOT HOLD ANY COIN!!!!!!!! I bought a friend an AA coin with the serenity prayer on the back and the plastic DOES NOT HOLD UP THE COIN. I'm very disappointed. I'm returning the item. It's made like crap.

I was hesitant at first. I wanted something that would showcase the front and back of a gold coin I got my husband for our anniversary. This did the job! Super easy to use and will hold up! I love it! I hope he will too 💖

The coin display frame works as intended. However, be aware that if the coin is thin or slippery, it won't stay in place and starts to slip down. So be sure that whatever you put in this frame is thick enough that the plastic membranes on either side can hold it in place. In my case, I purchased a commemorative coin that came in a small clear plastic case covering. I had to keep the coin inside the clear case it came with when putting it in this display frame, as when I tried putting the coin in by itself without the case, it slid down. It needed that extra thickness to stay in place.

I was a little hesitant at first because it's plastic and didn't come with instructions. I also saw some negative comments when trying to look up how to open it. I did manage to figure out how to pry it open (I was making it too difficult) and the coin went in and NO sliding anywhere! Love this, great way to display my son's ROTC medal.
