  • 【No Cleaning Required】The spray evaporates within a few hours, meaning cleaning is unnecessary after scanning. object at the same time.
  • 【Free of pigments】Unlike traditional sprays, The spray does not contain pigments and thus avoids pigment-contamination of sensitive areas, such as laboratories and production sites, equipment, and users.
  • 【Easy to Operate】Apply AESUB blue from 15-20 cm away. Gently push down the spray button and move the can across the area using even, back-and-forth strokes. Move at a consistent pace to achieve an even coating. Spray over the entire surface that you will be scanning.
  • 【Easier Scanning】The spray makes scanning transparent, highly reflective, or dark objects possible by coating them with a thin layer (8-15µm) that significantly improves scanning accuracy.
  • 【Suitable for 3D Scanning】The spray is a good choice for 3D scanners to scan reflective and transparent surface objects. Coating uniformity is consistent

  • Transparent parts

Since we are using optical technology, the object being scanned requires light to be projected onto its surface And is reflected back to the scanner's sensor, so that the scanner can capture the structure of the object's surface. However, with a transparent object, light will pass directly through the surface rather than being reflected by the surface. As a result, the scanner cannot capture the surface structure.

  • Bright parts

With reflective components, the beam will be reflected in a focused manner rather than in a diffuse manner. This means that the chance of the beam hitting the scanner mirror is greatly reduced. The scanner will capture only a small portion of the reflected beam.

  • Pocket groove

When the object to be scanned has a deep pocket area, The bottom received by the scanner is light reflected from the walls of the deep trench. This can produce noise or spurious data in the scanned data.

  • High quality and high precision

When quality and precision are important, you may want to eliminate all potential interference factors, Such as color differences, reflection differences, textures, etc.

I got this to try to improve scans using my 3DMakerPro Moose Light scanner. It works by dulling and adding some texture to smooth reflective surfaces that are tough to scan. it's essentially a powder spray, but it does evaporate and fade over time.

This is perfect for when I need to scan something really shiny./reflective. There are a few items that are hard from my 3d scanner to pick up on because of the surface being shiny/reflective. I just spray a bit of this stuff on before the scan and it picks it up on the scanner just fine! After a while it just wears off and the item looks like normal. Really cool stuff!
