I really like this set of candle accessories. The finish is nice, no scratches when I unpacked mine and none to date.They are pretty sturdy and don't feel like they will bend or peel.I am disappointed that the wick trimmer doesn't really work, especially on the harder and thicker wicks.I know it's almost impossible to make a snuffer that doesn't turn black when you use it, but this one seems to get a really black residue on the inside and if you don't get it just right on the outside a bit.They are heavy duty, and very nice looking. I'm going to hang them on my wall where I have a set of candle holders mounted. They will look excellent there, and I'll still be able to take them off and use them.I like them better than what I had, but I think I want to save them since they are so nice.

I have recently found a new hobby and that is making candles. I have both metal and glass containers, I make them both scented and unscented, I also add some scents to candles, but most I do not. Ordering this candle accessory kit has completely made my day. It will work with my candles that I make because I use a lot of wood wicks. Wood wicks are often done with 2 pieces. If you don’t trim the wood down to a 1/4”, then you will have a lot of black smoke.I love the candle snuffer because it will put out my candle without a lot of smoke. The candle snuffer will also prevent liquid wax from leaving the candle and getting all over the outside area. The candle snuffer will, most importantly, keep the candle from throwing an ember outside of the container. This could cause a fire if not caught in time, especially with wood wicks that have been soaked in olive oil.And lastly, the wick spoon is included with the set. This prevents the wick from smoldering and allows debris to be removed from the candle wax. And since all 3 pieces are made of stainless steel so that they will be lasting for a long time. They also will be stronger for longer.This candle accessory kit is reasonably priced and makes an incredible gift, along with a scented candle, especially for a bachelor that wants to keep his home looking and smelling nice. These are accessories that people will pick up, want to touch, look at closely, and will probably state that they also want a set of these candle accessories. They are truly awesome.

These candle accessories harken back to an earlier time but they are a wonderful addition to a modern home. If you use candles you know how smoky they can be if the wick gets too long, and how hard it is to light them when the candle wick tips over. Also, blowing them out can get soot on the sides of light colored or clear jars requiring cleanup later.These tools solve all of those problems. The candle utensils look good in the rose color, seem to be above average quality, and work as intended. This is the third snuffer I have reviewed in the past two months. I hope this one does not break like the last two. I will come back and update this review if that happens. If you burn candles regularly, this set is a must-have.
