I was having squeaking noises coming from the rear of my 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Found it was where the gasket on the rear window rubbed against the tail gate. I saw in a forum that this would work. I placed it on the upper inside edge of the tail gate and the squeak has disappeared. No more irritation while driving. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it.

If you have a Jeep JL with a hardtop, then chances are you have a very annoying squishing/squeaking noise in the back. That is the tailgate rubbing the rubber weatherstrip on the bottom of the glass of the hardtop. Put this tape on the very top edge of the tailgate. Like magic, no more squeaking!

Doesn't hold up for long when used for sliding regularly (tool rest for a grinder) and leaves a ton of residue behind when you go to replace. I'll be switching to something else for sure
