Another wonderful product from 3M that works as promised. I love the claw hook system for its ease of installment and how it doesn’t destroy my wall with large holes. These hangers are great and hold the weight as advertised. We use ours for backpacks, coats and lunch boxes. They’ve held up nicely and look nice as well.

The hooks and the wall mounts were carelessly thrown inside the box loosely, and the plastic cover caps (meant for aesthetics) were damaged due to this negligence. I have received these before from another provider and they arrived in the manner the pictures here show, placed into a cardboard frame to hold each piece individually. This was not the case with this order, which makes it seem like it is an open box or used item. Not happy for how expensive these are.

Easy to install and doesn't leave big holes when you move them.

I used the large hooks to construct a step ladder holder in my laundry room. I had formerly tried a peel and stick hook system. While the hooks had worked great when used on a smooth wood surface, they failed on a textured surface. I found the "3M Claw" which was said to be easy to install and work on any surface. I got the bigger hooks to hold my 6 pound step ladder. The weight factor was overkill but the hook size was perfect. While I did need to hammer the claw into place since I couldn't push it into place through the texture of the wall. It looks and functions great.

Very easy to use and the damage left behind is almost unnoticeable if you remove it from the wall.

Harder to put in that they make it out to be. Make sure you are not over a stud and don't be afraid to use a hammer.

I'd been curious about (but skeptical of) 3Ms claw hangers, but had nothing that needed hanging and plenty of other picture hangers on hand, so I never found an excuse to try them. However, after watching a video of them in use, I grew more curious and discovered they had these coat hooks. That was something I had a need for, so I took a shot. Shipping took a while, but once they arrived, I was surprised to discover they worked just as easily as had been shown. Two big things (and one small thing) I liked with these:1. These offer a level of weight support that's greater than any of the 3M adhesive hooks, which is great. I love those hooks for non-damaging hanging, but I always end up overloading them. This is heavy duty enough to hold an unreasonable number of coats or sweatshirts without the need for my busting out the drywall screws.2. The only damage done by these are two small holes which are hard to spot and trivial to fix. This makes them a great solution for things that I previously would have needed a light drywall screw for, because they offer the same strength but don't leave a visible gauge in the wall.3. The coat hooks look surprisingly nice. Not going to be to everyone's taste, but the piece you snap over it gives it a nice floating look that I dig. Parts are all simple enough that they'd be easy to spray paint too, if needed. My sole concern with these is that I am not 100% confident how they'll hold up over the years. The holes are small enough that I worry that regular use may eventually pull things loose. I haven't seen any sign of that yet, so I may be worrying for nothing, but it seems worth mentioning.(On a lark, I hung a 20 pound kettlebell from them when I was taking pictures. I don't think I'm brave enough to make that a permanent kind of arrangement, but it handled it with no problems at all)
