This works quite well for the price. I needed a smaller head set to use with my face shield, dust mask. A lot to fit in a small space.

These fit great, are comfortable and work very well. I got them for my noisy kitchen blender! (Also learned to set the blender on a folded towel) Anyway, I have already damaged ears from loud music when I was a kid and now I guess they are more sensitive due to damage, and are uncomfortably sensitive to loud sounds now. These are also used for vacuuming, especially the car. And for the leaf blower in garage, etc. Wish I had learned earlier to protect my ears.

I bought several pair of these to use in my classroom for students who like it quiet when they read or work. I wish I could buy enough for every student, because everyone wants to use them. They are not too big or too tight. These are the perfect "quiet headphones" for the classroom. I have been using them for years, and not one pair has broken. The ear cups have no holes or tears, and they get used daily. These last, and therefore are an excellent value if you are buying your own classroom supplies.

I usually work around quite a bit of noisy machinery which produce a lot of high pitch sound that causes lot of discomfort. So after wearing these the noise is reduced to a comfortable level.KEEP IN MIND that it does not eliminate noise 100% like you would expect an active noise cancelling device to do, it only reduce outside noise to a comfortable level.It is comfortable to wear and lightweight so can be worn for extended periods.That said it could be cheaper.

Estoy muy conforme con este equipo de seguridad es muy cómodo se ajusta muy bien no filtra casi nada de ruido yo tengo medidor de ruido y pues siempre es bastante lo que produzco entre 70 y 65 Entonces cuando el torno está cortando metales duró se eleva hasta 90 entonces con supresión de ruido es muy seguro, buena marca calidad y precio muy buenos aceptables estoy muy conforme con mi selección

Out of the box, the earcups didn't go low enough, resulting in an overly-small/tight fit. I thought these are non-adjustable and I'd have to live with the tight fit. If all else fails, read the instructions. So it was my delight to learn the earcups can be slid a lot lower. Now a perfect fit. By using the adjustment, these will fit kids to large adults. They fit comfortably but the headband provides a bit more force than I'd like - but it makes for a good seal and it fits securely even in bumpy environments. The ear pads are soft & cushy despite not being very thick. Overall, these are very comfortable once adjusted properly.Contrary to some other comments, I find the noise reduction is more than adequate. If anything, I'd prefer a bit *less* attenuation because I use these around the house where I like to still hear a little bit of what's going on around me.I've had cheaper hearing protectors whose plastic headbands eventually broke. The stainless steel bands of this one should last many years. These are semi low-profile, so the earcups don't stick out much, giving less of a goofy look when wearing hearing protection. Also love the understated, unique off-white color - nice looking without being flashy. Good job 3M, on designing a simple but solid, professional-quality hearing protector.

Despite the fact the guy that delivered the package just nonchalantly tossed it by my door and you could hear it hit the concrete which annoyed me a bit with how careless he seemed. The fact that my security camera is further away from the front door and you could still hear it hit the ground is kinda of ridiculous. Watching him just let it drop made me cringe, I got worried seeing how the box was damaged. Grateful nothing broke - Now, the product itself? - Definitely worth the money. These don't completely end surrounding noise which is great, it reduces everything to a highly manageable level allowing me to still be aware of my noisey surroundings, they fit comfortably which is a definite plus. Even my 2 year old likes them. It's easy to transition from a fitting comfortable to him and then switch back to where it's comfortable for me.Wondering how much I like these? I ordered the behind the neck and over the head ones. Same thing just a different wear and they're both great.

イヤマフはじめての購入でしたが、全体的にとても気に入っているので星5です。１枚目の写真を見て色合いがオシャレだと思い購入しました。しかし届いたものはパット部分、上部の頭あての部分が茶色ではなく黒でした。３枚目の頭につけている写真の色が正確です。参考にしてください。色に関してはほんの少し残念でしたが、装着感、遮音性、軽さ、が気に入っているので気にしていません。まず軽さですがかなり軽いです。重さで苦になることは絶対にありません。苦になるとしたら装着感の圧迫感ですがこれは商品の性質上、少しあります。普通のヘッドホンより少しだけきつい程度です。私は長時間つけていると慣れて気にならなくなります。また、持ち運びのために折りたたんだりとかはできないですね。折り畳めれば最高でした。そして遮音性に関してですが、業務用空気清浄機マックス、扇風機マックス、PCフル稼働、エアコンという部屋でつけたらイヤマフ単体で９０％ぐらい遮音されます。風切り音でうるさくても軽い音なので遮音性が高いのでしょう。耳栓＋イヤマフをしたら自分に喋りかけてくる人の声は殆ど聞こえません。イヤマフだけでも何言ってるかわからないぐらいになります。騒音の多い場所でイヤホンする方は自然と音量上げてしまって、耳への負担が大きくなるのでイヤホン＋イヤマフでイヤホンの音量小さくするのも自分はありだと思います。大きいものと比べると遮音性は劣るので、ラフなイヤーマフがこれで、もっとしっかり遮りたい方は大きめのを買うのがいいです。

The 3M Peltor earmuffs are great for studying! I purchased these before I started graduate school because I am the type of person who concentrates best when it is silent or at least very quiet. In the past, I tried listening to music on my headphones when studying in a noisy environment, but that only distracted me more. These noise reduction earmuffs were inexpensive, yet they have been extremely useful in helping me tune out extraneous noise.Here is my product evaluation of the 3M Peltor Noise Reduction Earmuffs:*PROS*NOISE REDUCTION: These earmuffs drown out enough noise so that I can hear myself think even if I am studying in a noisy place. These earmuffs are not completely noise canceling, but they do effectively muffle medium loud sounds, such as a conversation happening a right next to you, and very loud sounds, such as a blaring police siren outside your window. These earmuffs are excellent at completely eliminating soft background noise, such as the hum of a refrigerator or a conversation happening in the next room.COMFORT: I find these earmuffs very comfortable. The two earpieces are cushioned and fit around my ears without bending them. The width of the earmuffs is adjustable and so can be worn tightly or loosely, as you prefer. They are also very lightweight.MANY PRACTICAL USES: Apart from studying, these earmuffs are great for the following additional uses: (1) to help you concentrate in a chaotic office environment; (2) to help you sleep even when the neighbor's dog won't stop barking; (3) to help you meditate and achieve a Zen state; and more.*CONS*BULKY: There is an image of these earmuffs folded compactly on Amazon, but these earmuffs do not easily fold. Therefore, I keep them extended, and they take up more space in my purse than I anticipated they would.3M LOGO ON EAR PIECES: Some images show plain ivory earpieces with "Peltor" printed in black, but the earmuffs you receive when placing this order are ivory with red and black text that reads "3M Optime 95" (See attached photo). I would have preferred the more plain earpiece design so that the earmuffs resembled regular music headphones rather than so obviously called to mind construction worker/air traffic controller equipment, which affords you some funny looks in a school/office setting.

4/2/16 These fit well and cut out the sound even better. They are snug but that is what you want from ear protection because any type of loose fitment allows noise to come through.The ear cushions are soft and conform easily to my head.They are easily adjusted by pulling down on the war muff portions while wearing it. The adjustment allows for up, down, and slant angle adjustments.I use them for grinding or cutting metals and they work well. Not completely silent which is what you want. Think emergency and someone is yelling for you....I think it is the best ear protection for the price range. Time will tell how they hold up.

We have a pair of these and a pair of the similar yellow 98's and are pleased with both. These are less thick than the 98's but don't offer quite as much sound protection, although there is not a huge difference. My husband prefers the yellow 98's but I like these better, mainly because they are thinner, are a less noticeable color, and therefore aren't quite as unattractive to wear. These are also a couple of dollars cheaper than the 98's. Both are similarly constructed except for the ear piece thickness, and fit well. For target shooting, they reduce a loud bang to a muffled pop. They also greatly reduce background noise, but speech can be heard softly if the person is facing you and speaking in a fairly loud voice. They would probably be good for use with power tools and lawn mowers. These are better muffs than some that are available locally for about the same price. They are lightweight and comfortable and the headband can be adjusted up or down for fit. No complaints so far. They are cream colored, not white.
