A little more than all other electrical tapes. If you look at the specs it’s rated higher in a lot of parameters. But it has excellent stretch and stick. If I’m going to use electrical tape. Which isn’t often. It’s at least going to be the best

Thicker than regular electrical tape and worked great. Just remember to stretch it tight so it stays put. Since it's rated for high temp, I also ended up using it on my dryer exhaust port to give the duct/clamp some grip and not slide off.

This is the highest quality electrical tape available and worth it at any price. This is also the thicker tape From 3M..If you want something to last, this is what you use. Cheap electrical tape is a nightmare.

Excellent Electrical tape. This is one of the best I have used. I use it for electrical stuff, as well as for masking lexan/Polycarbonate race car glass when it needs to be painted around the edge. Perfect clean edge.

There's no electrical tape better than 3M Supper 88.You ask "How can there be any difference in electrical tape"? LOL Because this is the perfect electrical tape.It doesn't melt or get sticky. It's heavy duty you need to cut this not try to tear it and works as you'd expect great electrical tape to work.Once you try it you'll be spoiled and you'll never want to use anything else. That's right. You'll become a 3M electrical tape snob.Like me and all the others here who feel it's a waste of time to use anything other than 3M Super 88.

This electrical tape is expensive but completely worth it. It is durable and strong and the adhesive is very good. Although I wouldn't recommend it in water submerged uses, I had to use this tape in this situation as what i thought would be a temporary fix. It's been 3 years underwater and the pump still works. If doing a good job is important to you, don't skimp; spend the money on good quality stuff like this!

So much better than standard tape, well worth the extra price.I purchased M3 pro tape to wrap and secure capacitors in the rear of my car, attached to LED lights to provide load and stop bulb error messages, the capacitors get very hot and need to be kept away from plastic to stop from melting it and eventually catching it on fire. I had used standard electrical tape purchased at B&Q but it could not deal with the heat, even after I put head shield sleeves over the capacitors, it still shriveled up and and came free. Not the M3 pro tape, it has been in place for a couple of weeks and used for the longest journey with lights on since the LED's were fitted at 4 hours round trip and the tape looks just as it did when I first fitted it. Standard tape gave up within 30 minutes of the light being on.

This is one of those things you have to buy for a thing, then the rest of it sits around for years. Hard to get super excited about reviewing it but yeah, it worked fine. Just wasn't stoked about having to buy electrical tape in the first place and then having a roll sit around the house for who knows how many years on the off chance I might need another couple inches of it in like 2021 or something. But if you have to do it, might as well be this one.

It's probably difficult for most people to get excited about electrical tape however as a repair technician you're only as good as your tools. I've been using this brand for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. The large roll lasts a long time but the tape quality does not degrade even in our hot humid climate. It's quite strong, has excellent adhesive qualities and is reasonably priced. Finally (and this is a nice touch), it comes in a very nice plastic container that can be reused long after the tape is gone.
