I have two of these from 2005, they are in fine shape other than the blades have worn down. Actually I only need the blades but can not find any. I have tried so many other dispensers but these are far superior so I was THRILLED when I found these on line. They are light weight and small enough to handle, cut tape well and are VERY sturdy. Do not let the plastic fool you. You will not be disappointed if you purchase these.

1 Lo que más me gusto es la facilidad de usar, no tienes que ajustar nada, el grosor de diámetro de la cinta adhesiva. Se abre como si fuera una tapa, se inserta la cinta adhesiva, y se vuelve a poner la tapa. Este sistema de tapa sirve para que no se ladee o mueva hacia los lados la cinta, lo que permite con más seguridad y fuerza poner la cinta. Otro punto que me gusto, es que la navaja no trae sistema de seguridad, ni cauchos, es decir, asume que sabes que te puede cortar y que se manejara con cuidado. La navaja SI es filosa y grande para hacer cortes fáciles y constantes. Lo utilice con una cinta adhesiva con un hueco de 2.5 cm de ancho(1 pulgada) y de 150 metros de largo(ancha) y cabe sin problemas en el sistema tapa.Otro punto a favor, al ser sistema de tapa, es que la cinta cuando la cortes, no se va a hacer fea, apachurrar con ella misma o desperdiciar, porque la cinta está firme y lo único que se corta es donde se marca con la navaja y casi siempre queda una cinta pequeña LISTA PARA USARSE. El rodillo es firme, lo que sirve para qué la cinta siempre este en contacto con el paquete y así se vaya pegando firme al paquete. El material es plástico, pero resistente, es decir, no un plástico delgado. Lo compre por $450 MXN, ENTONCES, buscar ese precio, porque puede llegar hasta $700 MXN. Mi recomendación es que siempre compres productos enviados y vendidos por AMAZON MÉXICO Y/O AMAZON ESTADOS UNIDOS, porque te asegura el mejor precio posible, envíos de 1 a 2 días y si viene de ESTADOS UNIDOS te llega como en 5 días con impuestos y envió incluido (en este caso no pagas impuestos porque es menor de 50 dólares), EJEMPLO, lo compre por $450 total y venía de AMAZON ESTADOS UNIDOS(envió incluido)

It is super easy to use, easy to install the tape, and works just great! I used to own a UPS store for a few years many years ago and had several of these for employees and myself to use. When we decided to move this year I ordered a different one and hated it. I looked again online for this particular tape dispenser and was surprised to see it still available! Once I received this one I remembered how great it is to use and refill. It makes packing so much easier!

I've tried at least 10 tape dispensers and this one is by FAR the best. I'll list why below.1. No tape movement! If you use tape guns often you'll understand. There is no tape side entry for the tape to leave. This also ensures the tape is precisely placed. No tape folding over, no tape sticking anywhere else, no having to move the tape.2. No edge protection! I'm a grown adult and there are no children at work so why do I really need that horrible moving blade protection. Always cuts perfectly instead of 9/10 times with the hand protector.3. So far has gone through a thousand+ boxes.I've accidentally left one at a move and had to use another tape gun. I didn't last 5 boxes before I immediately went on amazon and bought another. This is the best by far.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this plastic version, but I'm glad I did. It's light weight easy to load and works great. Better than the more expensive metal versions.

The angle of the handle makes packaging almost effortless. I have used the other models, different brands, and heavy duty packagers, and they are all the same. This one is the only one that works well, in my opinion. The only problem is that it is not completely made out of metal, such as other types of dispensers. The material of the casing is plastic, and not Glock polymer type, but 99 cent store toy gun type of plastic. I don't thing it could survive a hard hit or high fall. Not bulletproof, to say the least.

keeps breaking in the same place third one so far, plastic breaks where the tape comes out, junk not a good buy stronger plastic needed
