3mirrors Intake Manifold Air Flap Runner Repair Kit Compatible with Mercedes-Benz C, CLK, CL Class, E Class, ML Class, SLK Class, S Class, R Class M272 V6 & M273 V8 engines.
Mercedes-Benz vehicles with the V6 M272 or V8 M273 engines commonly suffer from failure of the intake manifold causing vehicle faults.
Our repair kit allows you to replace just the lever component that fails on the manifold with an improved design part which will not fail.
To diagnose fault you can visually inspect the manifold, remove engine covers and inspect intake manifold from above, using a torch you should be able to see down the front of the manifold and see if the lever is damaged.

Will this product work – yes but only if you take the extra steps to make up for its deficiencies. This product is made with poor tolerances, and without much thought to overall durability. The clearance between the holes and the pivot points are too excessive. This screws and lock nuts do not really lock in place so you need to use thread locking compound. I suspect there are better alternatives out there, but they’re gonna cost you more than $11. You can get by with this but you need to understand you’re not getting the best option. I would look elsewhere for solutions for your Mercedes.

I pulled the intake manifold and replaced the broken one with this. Very flimsy. After I put the intake back with this part it broke within 3 weeks. Now I have to pull the intake manifold again which is not easy in a mercedes slk350.
