A must-have for toasters, panini makers and similar appliances that don’t have their own switches. This plug allows you to avoid sparks in the outlet when turning appliances on and off.

Love these little guys, makes things simple and easy, and because they light up, I'm reminded to turn off my appliances if it slips my mind. This is especially great in the bathroom with hair dryers and straighteners (although sometimes having a little glowing orange 'night light' isn't a bad thing). 2 in the kitchen, 1 in the bathroom, all are great!

These FUNCTION just great, to turn ON or OFF a couple of outlets individually. But because of their SIZE, in many cases they totally obstrut that second outlet in a standard wall outlet form, so you're basically trading two for two... the only advantage being a switch on each.My stronger preference would be to have something sized such that the unit did not interfere with that "other outlet" and would take up only the space and real estate of ONE outlet for two... thus adding value as well as switch. So, as I said, it does function... it's just a tad too big (or has its plug placed in an inconvenient place) for allowing free use of "the other outlet"...

Older garage had limited receptacles and lighting. Got 2 nice 4 foot 4 LED lights and wired them with long vaccumn cleaner power cords, free finds on garbage day. Got tired of having to plug and unplug them. This was installed at the door way and is so easy to turn on now. Garage has no windows so lights are a must. I recommend them forSspecial situations.
