These brackets look cheap, but that's ok because I was installing on a cheap drum set. While trying to screw in the first screw on installation it wasn't going in smoothly so I backed it out and added a drop of oil. It Didn't matter...as I was screwing it back in, the casting cracked apart at the hole that the screw bolt goes into. I waited three weeks for this?!

These are cheap. They will work for a while until you can find a better solution. 5 stars for being so cheap and somehow still good enough. Don't tighten them down too hard or they might strip out.

I bought these to replace some broken mounts on a project drum set I picked up a couple months ago. The price is great (it ought to be since it's from China). I actually spray painted them black with some high-quality paint, so they match the other back hardware on the set... they look and work great.

Used these brackets to turn WFL marching snare into a floor tom. I was careful to drill holes vertically. Holes have to be drilled at a slight angle to come out right. Wish I knew this before drilling into 90 year old drum shell. (far left in photo). Brackets are for 9mm legs BTW.
