Features:

One of them DOA, the others won't pair and do all kinds of odd things. These don't appear to have the real HM10 firmware and they are missing a bunch of AT commands. I tried loading the real HM10 firmware on a device but it doesn't work on these devices. The chip looks like a CC2541 but who knows, all I know is these don't work over bluetooth so no stars since that is their whole job.

After wasting 10+ hours of time trying to make it work, turned out that this is a clone of the genuine HM-10 and they don’t come with a flashed Firmware. I tried flashing the firmware by following tutorials on the Internet but it didn’t work either. I ended up paying for genuine module.

0 Firmware on the board; hooked up to my USB to UART converter, I could not send a single AT command through PuTTY Terminal. I've done it before with an HC-05 purchased from another company, so I know it isn't a user error or converter issue. Very Disappointed, and I recommend everyone avoid all board offerings unless you can solder and flash the board yourself (not that you should have to).

After trying an HC-05 from another vendor we purchased this one, which works great. Watch for fraudulent modules. These worked fine.

Default com is 38,400 not 9600 and most of the AT commands work right. My iPhone can’t see them but they communicate with each other well.
