Unlike Western flower decor, ikebana is about conveying floral beauty with a clean minimalism, to showcase a particular flower, or the arc of a stem, rather than overwhelm with a cacophonous dose of color and plumage. So a frog that is small in size should not necessarily be a limitation. Consider it a self-imposed creative constraint, to limit your presentation to what can be conveyed from a platform only 2" round. Or use these in arrangements that are more modest in scope - not every space can accommodate a large presentation.

I really hate the fact that these overseas merchants misrepresent what they are selling in the pictures . I thought I was getting large arrangers instead they are very small and fit in the palm of my hand …ugh
