Reasons To Buy+ Two ended articulated clamps let you hold a light flat item (like a small piece of paper)+ Can be handy if it matches your use case+ Rotates and pivots into multiple positions+ InexpensiveNitpicks / Hit or Miss* The grippy padding on the large clamp is only on the inner curved part, so it only works on rods, etc. If you're using it on something flat, it will slide around. If it had just a wee bit more grippy padding for clamping to flat surfaces, I might have liked these a lot better.Reasons Not To Buy- On the flimsy side, I would say that they're light duty use only- Clamping power can't hold anything that is really light

They completely fall apart at every joint, don’t stay up to even hold a paper next to my screen. Total waste just mad at myself for waiting to open them, now I can’t return ☹️

I paint from photographs and it is a great help to have the photograph close to the canvas. This works perfectly. It will clip on to 3/4 inch , 1 1/2 inch canvas and,of course, to gesso boards. And it can be adjusted to hold your photograph however you want it. It doesn’t leave dents on your canvas because of the wood frame underneath the cloth. (I haven’t tried it on boards. ) I can’t speak to durability as I just started using them. They are lightweight-a good thing-made of plastic. I will use with care. (I rated it 3stars on sturdiness because I really don’t know yet)
