I have a young box turtle I rescued from a bad situation. It was less than a year old when I brought her home and she is now about 3 years old and spoiled. Box turtles aren't water reptiles but they do like water and recently I have found her trying to play in her water dish. This is a great size. I only fill it about an inch as she has to be able to keep her head above the water line when she needs to. She LOVES this swimming pool. It is very sturdy plastic and has plenty of room for her to move around. A full-grown box turtle would also be able to use this. Some of the larger turtles would enjoy this but might not have as much room to move around. The food dishes are nice also and we already have food dishes shaped like leaves. The big feeding leaf that comes with this set is the same size as the one I use for her water dish and the one I have been finding her basking in. I highly recommend this turtle swimming hole.

Drain piece on the end of the tube broke quickly. Siphon doesn’t work at all. Just go with the non-drainage option if you buy this item.

Thes3 dishes work well enough for my small iguana.. will,need to replace as he grows.
