In automotive, solar, marine, and other power systems, battery cables play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient power transmission. They act like a bridge between the power source and the equipment, keeping the current flow stable and reliable. I use this set to connect my 1000W inverter to the battery, and with a 150A current rating, it provides plenty of headroom, giving me peace of mind during operation.Features & PerformancePure Oxygen-Free Copper – Excellent conductivity, low resistance, and minimal power loss, improving overall system efficiency.4 AWG Wire Gauge – Matches other true 4 AWG cables I’ve used, capable of handling high-power loads without overheating, even under continuous heavy use.Durable PVC Insulation – Wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and heat-resistant, providing long-term durability and safety. The double insulation design further enhances protection.Heavy-Duty 3/8" Tinned Copper Lugs – Anti-oxidation, corrosion-resistant, and securely crimped. I pulled on them with full force, and they held firmly—no looseness at all.Red & Black Color Coding – Makes it easy to identify positive and negative terminals, reducing the risk of wiring mistakes and improving installation efficiency.

These cables work great as connection cables for a 1000 watt inverter, they are well built and a nice alternative to making yourself. Originally the lug collar covered the insulation but after moving around a few times the wire is visible under and around the lug collar. Heat shrink should be used at the lugs to make these a 5 star item.

Good construction, had no issues using it in my solar setup. After about 20 min the wires werent hot or anything. Have used cheaper wires that ran hot eventhough they were supposed to be the correct gauge. So I'm glad to see these worked well

The AWELTEC 4 AWG Battery Cables use decent looking and flexible wire and the tabs/lugs on each end are heavy duty, plated copper. However, when I opened the package, wire was showing at one of the ends and the lug didn't appear to be crimped very well. I thought it might pull out though it did not when I wiggled it. Before installing, I re-crimped it for my peace of mind. These are very basic cables without heat shrink to cover any exposed wire and the crimp portion of the lugs. I installed two of these cables on the same bolt. The product listing photos don't show it but the lug is not flat on one side but rather the tab extends from the center. This makes it very difficult to connect two lugs to the same bolt if you want to overlap them rather than offset them around the bolt. I was unable to install the terminal cover on an inverter while using two of these cables to carry the current load. One final concern is the lack of any standards printed on the cable. The cables do say “SAE 4 GAUGE COPPER” but there is not other information regarding temperature rating or insulation characteristics.

This product is a pair of 4 AWG cables in red and black, length is 32 inches. The length is spot on 32 inches, and the size/gauge of 4 AWG is about right. They come with lugs on both ends. However, upon closer look, it's not difficult to discover that the lug is NOT full covering the on the PVC insulated jacket - that's fine, if that's the case, then put a heat shrink tube on it please. That happens on all ends of the lugs, both red and black cables. It does and can expose the multi-core copper wires, which isn't good for sure.Other than that, no further complaint on the cables.

I am a Vine reviewer who actually opens the box, really tests, really evaluates, and writes really honest unbiased reviews of products. Really.I always go back and read the advertiser description and other reviews.Pure copper cables are expensive. When I saw these available, I ordered 'em because I go through a lot of cables like these for various projects I build. Not a whole lot to mention about simple battery cables. These arrived in a nice box and will certainly do the intended job. These cables will work very well for me. Like another reviewer mentioned, there is a very slight gap on just one end of my red cable, but I can deal with that or fix it if necessary. The ends were firmly attached.I like the flexibility of these cables; they are not as stiff as some large cables I have used.Overall, I think these are a good deal, and if I have to repair or replace the lugs that won't be a problem.

At first glance these are very good value cables. For the same price, you get an 18 inch vs 12 inch. This one is 32 inches.Upon further inspection. It has a huge flaw that it doesn't have any heat shrink at the terminals. All cables should have some type of insulation at the terminal. It really doesn't cost anything to have heat shrink wrap at the terminals. The cables itself is very nice. They need to fix this problem and I can give these better ratings.

The two wires are very flexible at room temp. The crimped ends were done in a way I was not expecting, but should work overall. The copper wire was pushed into hollow crimp ends that were a cap to the stripped wire, and pressed into flat plates and a hole cut through with a press. You can see the copper in the cut holes. (See photos)If 4 AWG copper wires with lugs on the end are what you need, these will work. You may want to add some waterproofing if these will be exposed to the elements.
