For the price I wasn't really expecting much in terms of sound but I still wanted to try it out on my acoustic guitar since the preamp that came with it went down and I needed one for a gig I had coming up. But I have to say, I'm crazy surprised with the sound of this thing. It actually sounds like I'm playing an acoustic guitar when it's plugged in. The sound is definitely a lot better than the preamp that came with my guitar for sure and mine was a Dean.So yeah. You won't regret buying one for sure

Didn't want to spend $200+ for a pre-amp. Only pd $200 for the guitar. This inexpensive unit works perfectly! Sharp crisp highs, excellent presence, full mellow low's, and no hum at all! Didn't quite fit, so I made some templates and all is good. Very satisfied...( I do shows weekly)

I was really surprised by how well this pickup works and sounds. For this price range, I don't think you can beat it. The tuner works, but it is hard to see the display.
