I'm an outright beginner when it comes to music production. The first time I messed around with this was literally back in the early 90s. A friend of mine had a 4 track mixer. We crammed out a song as quick as we could. Man, that song was so bad.Flash foward. Here I am... I finally own a 4 channel mixer. For me to say I'm impressed doesn't say much because, well, I don't really know anything. But I do know that this seems to be a great place to start for me. Pretty straight forward and has all the functionality I need to have some fun. It might not be heavy duty like you audio engineers, but it'll let me lay down some tracks.I'm quite happy with this. 5 stars from this beginner!I hope you liked my review. I always try really hard to write reviews are are candid, honest, and helpful for your shopping decisions. No AI here... all the poor writing is mine and mine alone! :-P

It's a cheap mixer, so I wasn't expecting much; however, it did seem to work decently for about a month, and then one day, it just stopped working. I would get signals flashing in and out, and it would peak the audio in both channels even with nothing plugged into the channels. Sadly, I don't think it's built to last very long as I only had it sitting on my desk and never really moved it. While it did work initially, the audio was only "middle of the road," and it had decent gain, but it also came with a bit of that low-level hiss.

I bought this mixer, and it has exceeded my expectations. It’s compact yet packed with useful features like Bluetooth, reverb effects, and 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. The first unit I received did not work on CH1. They replaced it without issue. The second unit works perfectly. Instructions would be nice.

Sound quality is fine, but my biggest complaints are how basic and barebones it is. It's almost too straightforward and doesn't give me the kind of control I'd like. For example, it only provides EQ for high and low frequencies (check the manual for the Hz) and the device has vague markings around the knobs. It's impossible to know the exact knob position, so reproducing EQ I like is a guessing game. I would look for a more featured rich mixer for all but the most basic users.
