I've used many types of plant saucers over the years and have reviewed several.The saucers that are generally available at big box garden centers and hardware stores are very cheap, flimsy, and often require doubling or even tripling (that's how thin they are).Recently I've seen higher quality saucers that are far more rigid and sturdy. These saucers fit it that category, but only barely.The saucers have ribs on the bottom, like spokes on a wheel, which probably adds some strength and rigidity. The best feature is that the rim is a bit more than 1 1/4 inches deep, which is sufficiently deep to allow watering with the plant in place. Too many saucers I've seen are too shallow.But compared to others that are available, these are not quite as sturdy. In some cases you can actually pick the plant up by the saucer. That's not really possible with these because they're not stiff enough.In terms of packing, the saucers I received were bound together very tightly with a 1 inch strip of duct tape. They were wrapped so tightly that all of the saucers are bent. I expect them to gradually flatten out, but for now they're all slightly curved.Decent buy for what you get, but there are better options out there. Recommended keeping this in mind.

These are a little flimsy if lifting but for the price they are a great deal. I'm using them for water dishes for squirrels and birds. They are outside daily and don't fade or crack.
