I already have the num num teethers/learning spoons and used them for both of my babies. And my babies did very well with them and loved to chew on them, so they doubled as toys. I love that these are similar and designed with the same goals in mind. To allow for easier baby led weaning and to double as teether toys for the dreadful teething phase. I like that these are all silicone so no matter which part baby puts in their mouth they can comfortably chew and relieve gum pain safely. And like the nums I have they have two different stages of spoons. The ones with a hole in the center to allow for baby to pick up their food easily as their coordination is still being learned. They can simply dip them into a puree and put it in their mouth without worry of the food sliding off the spoon and into their lap since they won't gain control of their wrist movements quite yet. Obviously super liquidy foods aren't going to stay put so well but that is to be expected. The slightly thicker purees or even starter purees like oatmeal tend to do well. Then they can move to the solid spoons once they move to the next stage of purees and soft foods. Or in my case these usually double as the teethers and are the ones I keep in the diaper bag for when baby is fussy and teething when we leave the house. I like to tie paci holders to them and clip one end on the infant carseat handle so that it hangs just in reach whenever my son wants it while staying free of germs when he decides he's done and tosses it away until the next time. These spoons wash super easy too. I just throw them in the dishwasher on the top utensil rack and once done I toss them in the bottle sterilizer with that load of bottles just for extra cleaning. On top of being super useful these spoons are also super cute. I love the little teddy bear shapes. My one and only slight gripe would be that the teddy bear shape makes for a tad bit of a bigger hole for food to fall through whereas with the num nums food doesn't fall through quite so easily but this really is just a super picky observation. With the thicker purees this won't be such an issue. I still think they are great especially for the price!

These types of spoons are a must have for my guy or else he will grab at the spoon that's feeding him or the bowel and make a mess. We give him this spoon and he loves it. Great for getting them ready to feed themselves. The spoons clean up super easy and are very cute :)

The Baby First Spoons Set (4 Pack) in Orange/Red/Green/Purple features adorable designs, but unfortunately, they're not very practical for feeding. While the spoons are cute and colorful, they don't hold liquid solid foods well, resulting in a lot of drips and mess during feeding. Although BPA-free and safe for babies, the design could use some improvement to make them more functional. If aesthetics are your priority, these spoons are a great choice. However, for practical feeding purposes, you might want to consider other options.

I got these adorable spoons for my grandson to play with while we fed him as he has just started to really get into eating baby food (he's 6 months old). He's also figured out how to make his hands work so he's into grabbing everything & finds it funny to grab his baby spoon while it is in his mouth & try to take it away from you. Fortunately, these little spoons are great for distracting him & wonderful for teething on (with supervision of course!) I'm still unclear on how the spoons with the big teddy bear shaped hole in them will assist with self-feeding but since these come in a set of 4 -- two with holes & 2 without -- I'm sure he'll enjoy trying to scoop food by himself as he gets older. It is also very cute to see how he reacted when he figured out his tongue & finger went through the hole in the spoon. I don't think it will take too long before he's being silly by sticking the spoon on his finger or his tongue & make his big brother laugh!

I am thrilled with these Baby's First Spoons designed perfectly for tiny hands and mouths! As a parent, nothing is more satisfying than seeing my 6-month-old confidently self-feeding with these spoons. The flat design is ingenious—it eliminates the frustration of scooping and balancing, allowing my baby to grasp and use them effortlessly. What I love most is the thoughtful stages they cater to: the Stage 1 solid spoon is fantastic for purees and doubles as a soothing teether, while the Stage 2 hollow spoon is ideal for soft solids with its smart open-channel design. This thoughtful approach makes transitioning to self-feeding a breeze.Plus, knowing that these spoons support motor skill development from such a young age is reassuring. They are durable, easy to clean, and safe for my little one to use independently. If you're looking to empower your baby to explore and enjoy mealtime, I highly recommend Baby's First Spoons!

First off.. my sons name is Teddy so the littleBear on the spoons are too perfect! The size of these are not big at all, they’re honestly the perfect size. I’ll be keeping one in my diaper bag definitely! These are perfect for new eaters, especially those who want to be in control like my baby! He loves to hold the spoon and does well until whatever is on it falls off so this is going to be game changer with that. The spoon without the center removed has little grippy bumps that helps good adhere a bit more which will be great for when we are progressing in the journey. Love the colors and the material is awesome. New favorites!

These are the perfect size for a baby but a bit flimsy, I understand why but i just wish they were a smidge more stable at the spoon
