This is a great little item! The containers themselves are lovely and don't scream, "I have a bug problem!", which is very, very much appreciated! They simply look like a little air freshener, only prettier than your standard cake air freshener. They seem to work well. I tried one with the inner cover removed and another with the inner cover I place and poked a bunch of holes in it with a wooden skewer to try to increase it's life span. Both seemed to work fine, and the one that wasn't completely uncovered lasted quite a bit longer. I definitely recommend.

We put these in the detatched garage for both bugs and squirrels(since peppermint also deters them. They smelled REALLY strong, however after a bit over a week, we could hardly smell the two of them. It's been a month now and as of last week they seemed to be working but we will don't smell them, it's also still cold so that could also be the reason.

It does keep the spiders away but it didn't last as long as it says. I bought it Feb 5th, got it 2 days later, put one in my window and by Feb 27th it was almost all gone.

Haven't had these set up long enough to see how well they work yet and it's still chilly out, but any day the critters will be coming out. I set them in corners of the garage and sunroom and the smell was strong when I opened the cans, but the next day it was mellow and smelled good. Hopefully the black widows don't come in and say the same thing. ha ha

Works great, nice smell and easy to use. Just open the package, remove a canister, open and remove the paper cover, recap and set where you are trying to target. No spiders in my cupboard now.Recommend at least testing for yourself.

I’m beyond impressed with this repellent! While I have no desire to get rid of spiders - they are the GOOD bugs that eat the yukky bugs - this repellent works for other bugs as well - and being a resident in the Lehigh Valley PA in the summer, there is no shortage of stinkbugs. It’s a botanical formula that uses plant-based essential oils to keep spiders at bay, and the scent - thought a bit strong at first - is surprisingly pleasant—no harsh chemical smells. It has a strong lemony smell, but natural smelling, not a fake lemon smell. Best of all, it’s safe for my family, pets, and even my garden!Once I placed it in spider-prone areas, I noticed an almost immediate reduction in activity. It’s been weeks, and it’s still doing its job effectively. The fact that it lasts 60-90 days is a huge bonus. The fact that it works on stinkbugs (my summer in PA nemesis) and ants (my winter in Florida nemesis) is a game-changer. The little cans are super-easy to install - just pull off the plastic, open the lid and remove the paper insert, and place anywhere. They even have padded tape already in place if you want to secure them, though I dont think Id use them vertically, because though the goo inside is solid, I feel like heat may make them drip.I’ve used it indoors and outdoors—bedrooms, garages, garden sheds, and even my car. It’s waterproof and snowproof, so I’m confident it will hold up year-round. This is a must-have for anyone looking for a natural, eco-friendly solution to pest problems. I’ll definitely be buying more!

I realize that my headline may sound strange to some but for alot of us we are aware that spiders in the winter like to get under sheets & be near warmth at night. We also know that often that means we end up with spider bites here & there throughout the winter. So, I'm going to try this approach since I got a spider bite 3 nites ago. And it's only December-yikes! It's war now.I'm sending in the troops-peppermint, lemongrass & rosemary. I'll let them drive them out from under my sheets. All while I'm sleeping. lolIt's great that it's in a little tin, instead of spray's with a similar combo of scents I've used on floors & openings in the past. Those have worked on mice so this tin ought to work for spiders under sheets don't you think?!It's a little pricy to me but each tin may hold its odor for longer than spray's that evaporate fairly quickly. I'll be sensitive to that situation & may edit/update in a month or so.Currently, I like the use of this tin approach for this type of issue.
