We used it coat an antique wicker chair that we wanted to use on our front porch. The coating will help protect the chair from the elements.So far it’s working great!

Cleaned the rims really well then taped them off. I only used 1 1 /2 cans to get full coverage with 3 coats each 20 minutes in-between. I bought 4 cans as I thought I would need one for each wheel. I ended up using another can doing 3 more thin coats to top them off. So far it looks great and not runny and very easy to apply. I painted with the rims standing up so the paint can didn't sputter. Simple process took about 2 hours total time.

Not to sure about durability. I did a different approach by having to buff off all the old surface chrome and finish. Only time will tell on how much life ill get from these.

Very time consuming to do - but end result made it all worth it . I choose to take my tires off so not to get over spray all over brakes and truck itself .Did a light coat to start and let dry - did six coats totally and I really do love the end result . BUT:: it’s winter time here in Upstate NYLETS SEE HOW IT HANDLES THE SALT AND COLD.

I used this product to colour my stock aero caps on my Model Y. I waited until they went through a winter to see how they’d hold up before posting my review. The result was amazing the paint held up better than I expected through salt, sand and numerous car washes they still look as good as the day I painted them. Highly recommend. Follow the instructions and apply thin light coats to achieve the best coverage and smooth look. Do not rush the process and use the product in a well ventilated area.

This stuff is so hilariously handy. I just used it on a paper mache project in place of a sealing step where I would usually use Modge Podge and I am never using Modge Podge to seal ever again! Plastdip not only made the covering of the paper mache more durable and less able to crack, but it also FILLED IN cracks that had already formed in the flour/water mixture I had. I use this stuff on EVA and craft foam as well and it works wonders with filling in pores and keeping the flexibility of the foam itself!

I got this Plastidip for my emblems and plastic chrome on my 4 Runner. I didn't like how the chrome looked so I wanted to blacken them and this worked perfect. I probably put about 5-7 coats and they came out great. I even did my door handles. The nice thing about doing this is if you don't like how it turns out you can simply peel it right off. Applying this stuff is easy because you don't have to be perfect. When peeling off it will adhere to part you are trying to blacken but will peel off from the part you don't want blackened very easily. This a nice affordable way to get your stuff back.

This is a great product and is very forgiving when using it on a project. Dk not bother with competing products , i have tried them and they are no match. I suggest using the glossifier which is clear coat. I blacked out the grill on my wifes car and 4 years later still looks great. Hint, many many coats.
