We use it for playing with PlayDoh or Legos. Good size and it is easily washed. Smooth surface so the Playdoh or kinetic sand doesn't get lodged in any grooves. Very versatile and glad I purchased!

These trays were bought for my grandkids to work mess free. They are about an eight of and inch (width) short of the size of a piece of standard paper. So any paper project will have to be modified. Otherwise, they work for other projects very well.

They were slightly smaller than I expected based on the measurements indicated on photos. However, they serve my need well - I use them to contain playdoh, Kinetic sand, messy toys or to use for Lego/building. I don't think it would be as good for painting projects. They are easy to clean. Good value. Hold up to three crazy boys.

I use these to protect our dining room table when the kids are doing crafts. I also have a set of larger trays, but I prefer these trays because they are easier for the kids to handle.
