I hate drilling/cutting anything into my nice new shipping container. So using these either as hold-downs, or also as a way to mount/hang objects from the top corners without any cutting is great. Seems like good thick metal that should hold up to most normal use cases.

I have a Quadcon shipping container, 1/4 the size of a 20 foot shipping container, and I've been watching videos on how to attach a roof system to it, for greater roof longevity and an overhang at the doors.In the videos it suggests welding flat bar to the sides of the container, then drill holes in the flat bar and then bolt the roof system to the flat bar.These Shipping Container Anchors will eliminate all of that work.With these anchors placed and locked in the corner castings I can bolt the roofs framework, through the holes provided and then apply the roofing material, plywood, tin whatever I decide.The anchors are heavy gauge steel and well painted.However the listing shows' that the weld beads are completely around the shaft, at the plate and at the locking bar, and no welding where the shaft penetrates the flat steel. The ones I got are spot welded in both locations and clearly visible welding on the inside of the steel.I'm sure they are strong enough for my application but that cost a star.
