The rice sticks to the inside and does not push out in the shape you want. I have to line it with plastic wrap to line it. Very disappointed.

I got this primarily to make spam musubi with the press. The spam slicer does make short work of getting even pieces. I don't plan on using the other molds, so I can't speak to them. However, everything is well-made and relatively easy to clean. The musubi mold works well. I'm happy with it.

This kit basically comes with everything you need to make musubi, only downfall is how the rice press gets stuck often.

These are great for making spam musubis! The spam slicer makes it easy to cut uniform sized spam and the molds are easy to use. I put clear wrap on top of the mold, added seaweed, then added rice, then the spam, and then closed it with seaweed and pressed down with the handle. Now the spam musubis I make are much more tidy looking and all uniform size which is great. Easy to use if you're making tons of spam musubis at once. You can also use them to make rice balls although using these they would be rectangular shaped.

There's everything in this set so you can make neat-looking Spam musubi at home. The rice mold is handy for making the same size/shape base for the spam, which also is easy to get out using the built-in press. I brush the inside of the stainless mold with a little sesame oil each time using the silicon brush from the set and the rice rectangle releases a lot easier without sticking. The slicer if great for getting the even slices of spam. The small rice paddle is the right size for getting the approximate amount of rice needed for the mold. The other two molds are cute and although I'm not using them, I know a lot of people like making the triangular hand-held rice balls and shaping other foods for their kids. As stated in the title, it's a useful set if you have the room to store the pieces.

As soon as I found out about musubi, I knew I had to get this immediately!All of this stuff is exactly what you need to make it. Is a complete kit, it’s cohesive, it’s just what everyone needs.I was able to make it pretty quickly with this kit and I’m so thankful for that! This allows me to make it much faster than if I were to be doing it on my own.My only complaint- the stainless steel compressor. The inside part that moves down is also metal, which means that when you are compressing, the metal piece that’s moving down is also scraping on the metal container itself. It makes this awful scraping noise. They would just make it plastic or one of the pieces of different material, this wouldn’t be an issue. It drives me crazy. I took a whole star because of it.Other than that, it is perfect, truly.

The "slicer" came broke and is of such poor quality that trying to slice anything other than soft butter would break the darn thing.

This rice ball mold is working pretty good so far. It's all plastic components, so hoping it lasts for a long time.
