Water lilies need more than 4 hours a day of sunshine to flower.
Tropical lilies need full sun all day.
Keep lilies away from moving or flowing water. Away from pump or filter.
Frequently fertilize a water lily once a month depending on the fertilizer type and the size of your container.
No Pond No problem! Water lilies are thriving in a container.
Here are few tips to grow.
Water lilies are perennial plants that shoot in spring, flowering late spring until fall and going dormant in Winter.
Most water lilies will grow with 30-60 cm of water above the surface of the soil in place they are planted. Obviously, smaller type likes to be nearer.
Use heavy soil intended not fluffy one. Cover the soil with rocks pea or gravel.

Colors sent may not be the colors you ordered. I ordered 3 unique bundles from this supplier specifically for the colors shown. Received packages labled white and yellow. No blue, red, or orange. I recieved 4 white 4 yellow 2 purple and 2 unknow/unnamed. Tubers looked in great shape and came early, and this would easily be five stars if i was sure the colors were correct. No time to send them back as it was a time sensitive project. Off colors will be very dissapointing because i am trying to get a full mix of color and lily species in my koi pond. If the colors turn out to be correct, i will upgrade to five stars. Now only 2 stars for not being able to ship what you advertise. That all being said, if a buyer doesnt care about colors, then these are in fact a good choice as all tubers were in great shape and hardy.

Of four bulbs, three grew into plants very nicely. As a consequence of my experience, I've ordered three more packages (12 bulbs total). Interesting fact, the flower closes in the evening and submerges only to open again the next day. They last several days and are beautiful. Anyway, I purchased cheap pillow covers ($8 for 4 form Amazon), fitted each to a 5-gallon bucket (Lowe's but they're all the same), and cut a 6" diameter hole in the lid (again Lowe's). Next I filled the bucket (pillowcase) with topsoil ($2.81/40lb bag at Lowe's), and planted the bulb leaving just a smidge exposed and submerged in 14" or water (above the lid). The purpose of the pillow case is to contain the soil if the bucket tips over (proven to work). Anyway, they grew beautifully (except for the one). This is a photo of the containers awaiting the planting of the new bulbs. Yes, that's a Koi converted swimming pool, began with two fish two years ago and they have bred so we're over 15 fish! So the basic purpose of these lily pads is to reduce the temperature at the shallow end by shading the water. Now that we have proved the bulbs will grow, we're going to blanket about half the pool in lily pads because they'll shade the shallow end to lower the water temperature and thus, help control algae growth. These bulbs? Recommended!

The tubers I received were very healthy. Easy to plant and they all grew very vigorously, each sending up several shoots/pads. Fish love them. No flowers yet, post again when they come up.

We purchased one set of 4 and received another set of 4 as a gift. Out of the 8 total, only one is alive. Yes, we followed the directions and know how to grow them. Disappointed. These were supposed to be the nicer more expensive option.

I ordered other lilies on eBay and a couple weeks later than this order from Greenpro. The lilies from eBay are up but the Greenpro lilies have not come up yet. So suspect the tubers are not going to grow unfortunately.Still no water lilies. Sigh. Disappointing.
