These are great, Stainless steel is definitely the best way to go so you don't have to replace them again in a couple of years. Have a duty and perfect for the job on my ten foot landscape trailer.

These U bolts I would trust for demanding applications taking the full brunt of weather conditions. The quality control seems excellent with no flaws found. The half inch size is heavy duty, and the nuts and washers are equally heavy duty with no compromises in terms of thickness. The inclusion of stainless lock washers is a nice touch so that the nuts stay put if exposed to vibrations such as in a trailer hitch application.These U bolts are quite suitable -- heavy duty and attractive -- for various applications such as handles or tie points for maritime applications. They would look very handsome on a boat. The U bolts have a very nice brushed finish rather than polished.As a very well manufactured product of top quality stainless steel throughout, it earns from me five stars. At a unit cost of around $7 (even less currently with digital coupon), I consider this product to be a great value as well. Stainless steel nuts and washers in this size are not cheap when bought separately. One of these nuts at my local hardware store runs over a dollar!

These are really nice U-Bolts. Hardware also appears to be nice quality. Pleasantly surprised by these. Threads are clean, nuts thread on easily.

Very nice stainless steel product, I did the magnet test and almost no attraction except the washers had a little so they might a little lower grade SS. As far as dimension they seem very close, I didn't use precise measuring tools :) Packaging was excellent as they were in a bag, then in a box and the box was shrink wrapped.

Pros: These are very well crafted (machined) with PERFECT threading. Cons: Wish that I had found these prior to buying others which were totally miss-threaded!
