I could smell the moldy nests through the box on my porch. I was disappointed to see that the nests had been saturated at some point and were completely full of mold. they were wrapped in plastic, but look like they had been submerged for a while in water. Had they not been moldy they likely would have been some nice nests.

I had several items in my latest shipment. Some were chemical/medicinal, and so I was unsure of what caused the stink inside the box. Turns out it was these woven nests. At least 2 of the 4 were covered in MOLD! One was damp with it! Another was blackened. I give nests like this to my chinchilla to play with. No way was he getting these. I sent them back for replacement. I will update this review if the replacement is satisfactory.**UPDATE**The replacement nests arrived very quickly after I initiated the return. They are in excellent shape, with no sign of any debris or mold. Of course, now they are about $3.50 less than what I paid, so that's crappy. But overall, I would give the product 4.5 stars.

Compact, attractive and fits nicely in corner of my pigeons cage. Easy to keep clean; I put a small face cloth on top to protect the corn leaves and change the cloth weekly. I would buy again.

My pigeons love these nests. They even lay their eggs here. They aren't very easy to clean, when it comes to poop, but that's why I got several!
